This is what happens when white guys from Manchester (I assume) appropriate afro-american culture and reinterpret it in their image.

It is also a great example of how slang terms mean completely different things depending of the context you are in, even in the same language*.  

In fact I found this video while looking for information about southern “DONKS”, the car.

The video features the requisite hip hop fly girls except these are skinny, and don’t actually have badonkadonks** therefore do not (cannot) “Booty Pop” or “Freak” and end up doing a modified mod style dance like a Robert Palmer video with a hip-hop twist.

The guys of course are irreverent, “crazy actin” and proceed to do a pale imitation of the master old school wiggers, the beasties, but with an english trash accent or something, and untz untz drum machine blaring…

Its all pretty hilarious in the end, I like it.

In US southern niggah slang:

Any POS late 80’s or early 90’s American heap (preferably an Impala) that has large enough wheels installed until it resembles (and rides and handles like) a Conestoga wagon. This is done so it sits up high enough so as to be at the same eye level as the Playas with real juice ridin in their Escalades. Adding in a bad candy paint job and Wal-Mart sub box completes the transformation. 
With no money left over for necessary suspension and brake upgrades, the lifespan is limited to a few drug runs or the first Police chase, whichever occurs first.
That donk is fly and ridin high.

In UK annoying techno dance scene:

A pipe/plank-sound, that is used in Bouncy/scouse house/NRG music. Hearing this sound in a piece of music, one can easily recognise the genre of music it is. 

The sound is most commonly placed midway between beats, in the same place as hi-hats, but can be put in other places for different effects and such. The music it is used in is usually played between 150 and 160 Beats Per Minute. 

When dancing, a donk commonly makes the dancer bounce on the donk beat.
