back in the day when the web was in its infancy, a few artists where standouts at using the tricks of the web to create beautiful and interesting web art/graffiti/installations.

One group that was very influencial to me and many others was jodi.org

I had assumed they had moved on years ago, after they became a mim around 97-98.

But recently Johnny who with me was really was into them sent me a link of some wonderful new work from them.
