BASSACKWARD

Bass's stream of ponchiness.

Design, Steampunk, Graphics, Typography, Photography, Paintings, Interiors, Architecture, Music, Motorcycles, Cars, fashion, and places, all that inspire me.

This is not a sensible space nor really trying to be, instead its the continuous, extreme and ridiculous contradictions of my mind.

rants against hypocritical "greenness", rants for ultra-liberal resurrections of a new NON socialist leftist libertarian, fetishist imagery of gas guzzling devices, modernist graphic design, and obsessive interiors.

A pattern lust affair!

I keep staring at this image and wondering what it would take to build a cantilevered house inside of a quarry, hidden from the outside world, but full of light and sounds, birds and bats…  I will find it someday.
I so want to make a true recycled house like this. There are tons of unused industrial materials that need to be recycled; such as unused sections of highway and buildings, industrial warehouse parts, old trucks and buses, etc.
The funniest thing to me is that people focused on sustainable building will make up some ‘sensible’ reason not use these materials,  when the main reason is that they don’t ‘look’ sustainable. The thing is recycling is sustainable because otherwise this stuff just fills landfills.Get it together folks.
Look at the solid door.I also love the pebble floor, wonder how that feels underfoot. cool and massaging?
Look at the ceiling beams. I also like the table and the red painting.what the hell is up with those stupid wrong chairs though? They are fit for a conference room, not here…
